Features Centralized Server Configuration Management, Improved On Audio Support
and Advanced Integration Capabilities.
Woodbridge, NJ—April 10, 2012 Intelligent Security Systems (ISS), a leader in video management and image analytic software, announced today that they have released SecurOS Version 7.0. The new version has a number of key advantages, including centralized server configuration management option, easy to add on audio support, and advanced integration capabilities related to various devices. It also includes Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP)/Real-time Streaming Protocol (RTSP), a new event filtering module, direct 3D technology, and Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) compatibility.
“Our software development team is constantly working to refine and improve our solutions,” said Aluisio Figueiredo, Chief Operating Officer of ISS. “With Version 7.0 of SecurOS, we have made our solutions even more user friendly, efficient and comprehensive. While security needs worldwide tend to grow more demanding over time, our goal is always the same: to streamline processes for our customers so they can focus on safety and efficiency issues, instead of having their time eaten up by overly complex, hard to use solutions.”
With SecurOS 7.0, server configuration is designed to support large-scale distributed systems. With the centralized management of SecurOS 7.0, configurations can be changed from any computer, so the most recent changes are reflected throughout the system and create no conflict when communicating with other related servers (a consistent problem with ad hoc approaches).
Audio support can be added to devices without having to reinstall SecurOS software, due to a special plug-in integrated device pack, which automatically integrates audio and improves sound support for a number of previously integrated devices.
SecurOS 7.0 has a universal "driver" that allows cameras that may not have yet integrated SecurOS software to be connected and provide video support for the devices via RTP / RTSP. It makes no restrictions on the number and range of IP devices that can be supported, including video analytics functions. The number of supported cameras is very wide and continues to grow.
Through a new and improved Software Development Kit (SDK) devices can be integrated and operated without direction interaction with the hardware.
SecurOS 7.0 is immediately available on a worldwide basis.
