Woodbridge, NJ -June 14, 2012— Intelligent Security Services (ISS), a leader in video management and image analytic software, participated in the Cisco Physical Security ATP Partner Workshop in Amsterdam from May 29 to May 31st dedicated to Physical Security ATP partners in the EMEA theatre. The workshop gave partners the unique opportunity to meet with Physical Security Business Unit (PSBU) leadership and product managers through interactive presentations and demo sessions. ISS has partnered with Cisco on many projects throughout the world, and presented on the topic of "VMS is Not Enough". The workshop was led by Geetha Dabir, Senior Director of Engineering for Cisco's Physical Security business unit.
The presentation from ISS was heavily focused on showing how their security solutions and Cisco's easily collaborate to deliver a virtualized environment for customers. As ISS sales representative from around the world reported last month, the consistent feedback from customers has been that Video Management Services (VMS) is becoming increasingly commoditized and that customers more and more are demanding all encompassing solutions. With its SecurOS all-in-one approach where VMS can include a variety of analytics, such as License Plate Recognition (LPR), Facial Recognition, Cargo Recognition, and a host of traffic management and retail solutions, ISS and Cisco are finding an increasingly wide market to work together.
