External Integration

The ISS product line is based on object-oriented and event-driven technology. As such it offers simple external integration capability of dry contacts utilizing the optional ISS I/O board and interface. This provides three state controls (on/off/trouble) of devices that can be integrated into the ISS subsystem without any software changes. The I/O card and appropriate hardware can be annunciated or controlled in several ways:

• Sensors
• sensor states can be reported on a multi layer map
• visual indicator lights will light up one sensor/relay panel
• sensor states can be used to trigger macros or scripts
• Relays
• relays can be controlled from a sensor/relay panel
• relays can be graphically controlled from any multi layer map
• relays can be controlled from the system toolbar
• relay controls may be automated using scripts or macros
