Internal Integration
The ISS SecurOS line of integrated video servers allows for system integration of multiple third party systems where and SDK is available from the new device or system. ISS provides its SDK at no additional charge. The ISS SDK allows for the integration of virtually any third party system, including access control, fire and life safety systems, building management, SCADA, HVAC, or other technological based controls or systems. The introduction of this integration capability ensures the individual functional possibilities of each of the subsystems, allows a whole series of advantages for guaranteeing the necessary level of safety within an enterprise:
- Unified user interface tying in multiple systems within one GUI, including mapping of interactive maps with the location of each device or system: video cameras, microphones, actuating elements, sensors, etc; visual isolation by color or by special mark of the state of equipment (on/off, wear and tear under certain conditions, the start of motion detection sensors, etc.), accompanied by the appropriate text communications.
- Command and control of individual systems within SecurOS, easing training and systems needs and implementing an overlay of simplified controls for the management of an entire security topography.
- Logic based management of multiple systems. For example, if a fire panel alarm, that is integrated into SecurOS framework, can trigger door controls, strobes, release of gates, shutdown of delicate systems, etc.
- Allows for the convergence of technological security systems with mechanical system such as gate controls, strobes, etc.
The open architecture and the presence of the SDK - makes it possible to easily and rapidly include in SecurOS a variety of new systems and their appropriate functionalities.
System Core
ISS has created a core-based system architecture. The system core is responsible for receiving and analyzing of incoming events. Otherwise, the core is represented in the system as an event processor. It may analyze and manage system events according pre-defined control scenario. The ISS system core provides instant event analysis and generates reactions according to custom-defined scenarios that may be proposed for automatic system control and/or messaging.
The Multi-core (or multi-node) system follows unified system architecture - system event may go through communication media and reach every core in the system:

Enterprise multi-core system provides auxiliary core-to-core remote management. In this case, any system core may manage required system components at remote-core site, as shown in sample figure below:
